Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit, which pages they read, and roughly where in the world they are. It tells us whether the work is landing, not who you are.
Before any of this runs, we ask. The first time you visit you see a short banner. Accept and analytics runs. Decline and it does not, and nothing about your visit is measured. To change your mind later, clear this site's cookies and the banner comes back.
Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and collects standard usage data. The pages you view, your approximate location from your IP address, and your device and browser type. This data goes to Google and is subject to Google's own privacy terms. It loads lightly, so it never slows down your visit.
The simplest way to opt out is the banner: choose decline. Beyond that, most browsers let you block or clear cookies, and Google offers a browser add-on that turns off Google Analytics everywhere. If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, we would rather you know Google Analytics does not currently honor it, so the banner and browser controls are the reliable route.
